Here are 911 Calls for Service responded to by the Valley Regional Fire Authority (VRFA) from June 15 – 21, 2026:
- Aid Call (Auburn): On Monday, June 15th at 6:28 p.m., VRFA firefighters responded to an adult male experiencing dizziness and shaking. The patient reported working outdoors throughout the day without food or water and began feeling faint while driving home. Firefighters evaluated the patient on scene before he was transported by private ambulance to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center for further care.
- Aid Call (Auburn): On Tuesday, June 16th at 3:49 p.m., VRFA firefighters responded to an adult female experiencing significant bleeding following a recent surgical procedure. The patient had been discharged earlier that day when bleeding began during the trip home. Firefighters arrived to find nursing facility staff providing direct pressure to the wound and quickly initiated additional treatment to control the bleeding. The patient was transported by private ambulance to a local emergency department for further care.
- Aid Call (Auburn): On Wednesday, June 17th at 5:30 p.m., VRFA firefighters responded to an adult female with injuries from a fall that had occurred the previous evening. The patient reported rib pain and difficulty breathing. Firefighters evaluated and treated the patient on scene before she was transported to a local hospital for further evaluation and care.
- Overdose (Auburn): On Thursday, June 18th at 4:24 p.m., VRFA firefighters and King County Medic One paramedics responded to reports of CPR in progress. Upon arrival, crews found bystanders performing CPR on two unconscious adult males. Firefighters and paramedics provided life-saving care, including CPR and the administration of naloxone for suspected opioid overdoses. Both patients regained consciousness and were transported by private ambulance to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center for further care.
- Aid Call (Auburn): On Friday, June 19th at 8:01 a.m., VRFA firefighters responded to an adult female experiencing dizziness and abdominal symptoms. Firefighters arrived and initiated care on scene before the patient was transported by private ambulance to Valley Medical Center for further evaluation and treatment.
- Dumpster Fire (Auburn): On Saturday, June 20th, VRFA firefighters responded to reports of a dumpster fire near several fireworks stands. Crews arrived to find a large dumpster with flames visible from the top and no exposures threatened. Firefighters deployed a hose line, gained access to the contents, and fully extinguished and overhauled the fire. The cause of the fire was determined to be improperly discarded spent fireworks.
- Shed Fire (Auburn): On Sunday, June 21st at 10:12 a.m., VRFA firefighters responded to a smoke investigation after multiple callers reported black smoke in a residential area. Crews arrived to find a fire involving a chicken coop, scrap lumber, and several beehives. Firefighters quickly extinguished the main body of the fire and overhauled the area to ensure complete extinguishment.
- Commercial Vehicle Fire (Auburn): On Sunday, June 21st at 4:00 p.m., VRFA firefighters responded to a commercial vehicle fire on westbound SR 18. Crews arrived to find a semi-truck fully involved in fire and quickly deployed a hose line to extinguish it. Damage was confined to the tractor, and the trailer was not affected.
