An adult female driver was taken into custody on suspicion of driving under the influence following a single vehicle collision in Auburn on Monday, April 27 that left two juveniles critically injured, according to the Auburn Police Department.
Police said officers responded to the crash in the Lea Hill area on 104th Avenue SE, where they provided aid to the injured juveniles. Both were transported by air to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle in serious condition.
The roadway was closed in both directions between Lea Hill Road and Green River Road as investigators processed the scene.
The Auburn Police Department Traffic Unit is investigating, and this case remains active.
