The following is the Auburn Police blotter and references criminal acts that may upset some readers.
From the Auburn Police Department’s Public Information Log for Saturday, Aug. 22, to Sunday, Aug. 23:
- DUI: Police said the DUI and hit and run case was reported at 4:25 p.m. Saturday near 29630 Green River Road SE, listed as Auburn Golf Course. The incident occurred between 4:24 and 5 p.m., and a male was arrested for DUI and hit and run in northeast Auburn, according to the log.
- ASSAULT: A female was arrested in a simple assault case in the 4700 block of Auburn Way North, police said. The incident was reported at 9:46 p.m. Saturday, and the log also listed resisting or interfering with police as another offense.
- ASSAULT/ORDER VIOLATION: A male and female were arrested in an order violation case in the 5400 block of 37th Court Southeast, according to the department. The incident was reported at 2:20 a.m. Sunday and occurred between 2 and 3:50 a.m. The log also listed simple assault as another offense and said no firearms or ammunition were involved.
- VEHICLE THEFT: Police also listed a vehicle theft in the 1700 block of 19th Drive Northeast. The incident was reported at 3:24 a.m. Sunday and occurred between 4:28 and 5:44 a.m., according to the log.
- THEFTS: Several theft reports were included. Police reported thefts in the 1400 block of Outlet Collection Way SW, the 100 block of Cross Street SE and at 1502 Lake Tapps Parkway SE.
- HARASSMENT: A misdemeanor harassment report was listed in the 2800 block of F Street Southeast. It was reported at 1:38 a.m. Sunday.
- FIRE ASSIST: The log also included an agency assist for a fire in the 400 block of 1st Street NE. The fire was reported at 4:17 p.m. Saturday.
