Firefighters from multiple South King County agencies responded Saturday, Aug. 22 to a three-alarm residential fire in downtown Auburn, according to Puget Sound Fire.
The fire was reported in the 400 block of 1st Street NE (map below) on Saturday.
Valley Regional Fire Authority, Puget Sound Fire, South King Fire and Rescue, and King County Medic One were on scene, Puget Sound Fire said.
“Due to deteriorating conditions, firefighters are now fighting this fire defensively,” Puget Sound Fire said in a social media update.
No additional details were immediately available from the information provided, including whether anyone was injured, how many residents were displaced or what caused the fire.
