The King County Medical Examiner’s Office on Monday, July 6 identified the driver killed in a fatal crash during a racing event at Pacific Raceways in Kent on Sunday, July 5, as 62-year-old Glenn David Woloski of Kent.
According to the medical examiner, Woloski died from multiple blunt force injuries sustained in the crash at the 2026 Pacific Northwest Historics event hosted by SOVREN (Society of Vintage Racing Enthusiasts) at Pacific Raceways on Sunday, July 5.
Emergency crews responded to the vehicle collision at approximately 2:10 p.m., according to the King County Sheriff’s Office.
Police said the crash happened during a private event at the raceway, when one vehicle struck another vehicle that was occupied by an adult male. Despite lifesaving efforts by first responders, the adult male was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The King County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident.
Following the crash, racing activities for the remainder of the day were canceled.
Woloski’s tragic death was ruled an accident.
Earlier reports indicated the crash involved three vehicles on the racecourse. Puget Sound Fire reported one person died and additional injuries were reported at the scene.
SOVREN, the organization that hosted the event, had not publicly released a statement about the crash as of Tuesday afternoon.
