The Auburn Police Department won the annual Chili Cook-Off against the Valley Regional Fire Authority during Sunday’s Auburn Farmers Market, according to the department.
The fundraiser event raised $1,000 for the Auburn Food Bank, supporting local families in need, police said.
The cook-off brought community members together to sample chili while supporting a local nonprofit that serves Auburn residents.
“Thanks to everyone who stopped by, sampled some chili, and helped make this event a success,” police said.
