This annual event is one of the largest Veterans parades west of the Mississippi River.

Spectators can expect military marching units, ROTC units, color and honor guards, scouting groups, motorcycle clubs and antique car clubs. Antique military vehicles also will be part of the procession.

The city’s announcement lists a possible opening flyover involving the 446th Airlift Wing from McChord Air Force Base and the King County Sheriff’s Office. The flyover is not guaranteed.

For those lining the route, the city recommends arriving early and bringing a folding chair and a flag.

KOMO News will livestream the parade, according to the city. A viewing link will be posted on Auburn’s event webpage as the event approaches.
