According to Soos Creek Botanical Garden, the presentation will explore the importance of pollination in maintaining a strong ecosystem. Using live plant materials, posters, a tri fold display and a PowerPoint presentation, Melgaard will explain what to plant to attract pollinators and how gardeners can provide safe nesting habitat throughout the year.

“Pollination is important for a strong ecosystem,” organizers said. “Using live material props, posters, tri-fold, and a PowerPoint, Sue will tell us what to plant to attract pollinators and how to help them safely nest in our gardens during all seasons.”

This event is free and open to the public.
