Here are 911 Calls for Service responded to by the Valley Regional Fire Authority (VRFA) from April 6–12, 2026:
- Residential Fire (Black Diamond): On Monday, April 6th at 2:08 p.m., VRFA firefighters, along with crews from Mountain View Fire & Rescue and Puget Sound Fire, responded to a residential fire where a chimney fire had extended into the surrounding structure. Crews quickly worked to suppress the fire and prevent it from spreading to the rest of the home. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
- Motor Vehicle Collision (Lea Hill): On Tuesday, April 7th at 5:15 p.m., VRFA firefighters responded to a two-vehicle collision with one occupant reported unable to exit a vehicle. Crews arrived to find one vehicle in a ditch with the passenger door blocked. Firefighters assisted the driver from the vehicle and evaluated both drivers on scene. Neither required transport to a hospital.
- Outdoor Smoke Investigation (Auburn): On Wednesday, April 8th at 4:03 p.m., VRFA firefighters responded to reports of smoke in the area. Crews located a residence burning green wood in a fireplace, which was producing excessive smoke.
- Aid Call (Algona): On Thursday, April 9th at 9:08 a.m., VRFA firefighters and King County Medic One paramedics responded to a public building for a middle-aged man experiencing chest pain. Firefighters determined the patient required further care and medical transport. The patient was treated on scene and transported by paramedics to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center for further care.
- CPR (Auburn): On Friday, April 10th at 8:13 p.m., VRFA firefighters responded to a nursing home for reports of an ill elderly female. Upon arrival, crews found the patient without a pulse and not breathing, and the call was upgraded to a CPR response. Firefighters and King County Medic One paramedics provided life-saving care on scene, and the patient was transported to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center for further treatment.
- Auto Accident with Extrication (Auburn): On Saturday, April 11th at 1:13 p.m., VRFA firefighters and rescue specialists, along with King County Medic One paramedics, responded to a high-speed collision involving an SUV and a concrete wall. Crews arrived to find two critically injured patients and removed the roof of the vehicle to safely extricate them. Both patients were treated on scene and transported by paramedics to Harborview Medical Center for further care.
- Aid Call (Auburn): On Sunday, April 12th at 7:20 p.m., VRFA firefighters responded to an adult female with injuries from a fall. Firefighters evaluated and treated the patient for possible knee and arm injuries and applied splints to help prevent further injury. The patient was transported by private ambulance to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center for further care.
