Here are 911 Calls for Service responded to by the Valley Regional Fire Authority (VRFA) from Dec. 22–28, 2025:
- Aid Call (Lakeland Hills): On Monday, December 22nd at 10:45 a.m., VRFA firefighters and King County Medic One paramedics responded to a report of CPR in progress. Crews arrived to find an elderly female conscious on the bedroom floor, experiencing chest pain and dizziness. Firefighters provided treatment on scene before paramedics transported her to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center for further care.
- Motor Vehicle Accident (Auburn): On Tuesday, December 23rd at 5:48 p.m., VRFA firefighters responded to reports of a two-vehicle collision. Firefighters evaluated one patient on scene, who was transported by Aid 332 to a local hospital for further care.
- Electric Vehicle Fire (Algona): On Wednesday, December 24th at 5:58 p.m., VRFA firefighters responded to a vehicle fire on northbound SR 167. Crews arrived to find an electric vehicle smoking after striking an object in the roadway, with its battery pack damaged and on fire. The incident was upgraded to a HazMat response. Firefighters stabilized the vehicle, which was later towed to a facility equipped to monitor for potential battery pack reignition.
- Fire Alarm (Pacific): On Thursday, December 25th at 8:52 a.m., VRFA firefighters responded to a residential fire alarm. Firefighters arrived and spoke with the homeowner, who reported a smoke detector beeping. Crews determined the batteries needed replacement and assisted by replacing the batteries in all smoke detectors in the home.
- Cardiac Arrest (Auburn): On Friday, December 26th at 12:00 p.m., VRFA firefighters and King County Medic One paramedics responded to an adult male in apparent cardiac arrest. Firefighters and paramedics found the patient without a pulse and immediately began CPR. The patient was transported by paramedics, with firefighter assistance, to a local hospital for further definitive care.
- Aid Call (Auburn): On Saturday, December 27th at 9:13 a.m., VRFA firefighters responded to an adult female bleeding from her right thigh following a medical procedure. Firefighters treated and bandaged the site on scene, and the patient was able to remain home with her caregiver.
- CPR (Pacific): On Sunday, December 28th at 2:58 p.m., VRFA firefighters, King County Medic One, and local police responded to an adult male who was unconscious and unresponsive. Crews successfully regained the patient’s pulse and breathing before he was transported by paramedics to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center for further care.
