Here are 911 Calls for Service responded to by the Valley Regional Fire Authority (VRFA) from May 18–24, 2026:
- Motor Vehicle Accident (Kent): On Monday, May 18th at 10:33 a.m., VRFA firefighters responded to a two-vehicle collision that caused significant damage to both vehicles. Firefighters treated both drivers on scene, secured the roadway, and assisted with cleanup of the wreckage. One driver was transported to a local hospital for further care.
- Aid Call (Lakeland Hills): On Tuesday, May 19th at 6:46 p.m., VRFA firefighters and King County Medic One paramedics responded to an 18-month-old experiencing anaphylaxis. Firefighters and paramedics evaluated and treated the patient on scene. The child was transported by family to MultiCare Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital for further care.
- Aid Call (Pacific): On Wednesday, May 20th at 5:17 p.m., VRFA firefighters responded to an adult female experiencing complications following a recent surgery. Firefighters arrived and initiated care on scene before the patient was transported by private ambulance to St. Francis Hospital for further evaluation.
- Aid Call (Auburn): On Thursday, May 21st at 4:05 p.m., VRFA firefighters responded to an adult female experiencing the effects of an overdose. Auburn Police and firefighters administered Narcan and provided life-saving care on scene. The patient was treated by firefighters before being transported to a local hospital for further care.
- Outdoor Fire (Pacific): On Friday, May 22nd at 1:21 p.m., VRFA firefighters responded to reports of a fence fire. Crews arrived to find approximately 20 feet of fencing burning, along with a rowboat, canoe, and kayak. The fire was located between two homes, and firefighters extinguished the fire before it could spread further. No obvious cause was identified on scene, and the incident was turned over to investigators.
- Shooting (Auburn): On Saturday, May 24th at 2:24 a.m., VRFA firefighters responded to reports of a shooting. Firefighters arrived to find an adult male with multiple gunshot wounds to the pelvic area. Firefighters and King County Medic One paramedics treated the patient on scene before he was transported by paramedics to Harborview Medical Center for further care.
- River Rescue (Flaming Geyser State Park): On Sunday, May 25th at 5:04 p.m., VRFA rescue specialists, along with firefighters from Mountain View Fire & Rescue, Puget Sound Regional Fire Authority, and Renton Regional Fire Authority, responded to Flaming Geyser State Park for reports of an injured woman stranded on the far side of the river. Crews used rope systems and inflatable watercraft to safely rescue the patient. Firefighters treated the patient on scene before transporting her by fire department ambulance to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center for further care.
