VRFA Blotter: Significant skin infection, assault, vehicle accidents, residential fire & more

Here are 911 Calls for Service responded to by the Valley Regional Fire Authority (VRFA) from Jan. 26–Feb. 1, 2026:

  • Aid Call (Auburn): On Monday, January 26th at 2:28 p.m., VRFA firefighters responded to an adult male with a significant skin infection. Firefighters evaluated the patient on scene before he was transported by private ambulance to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center for further care.
  • Assault (Auburn): On Tuesday, January 27th at 11:55 a.m., VRFA firefighters responded to an adult male who sustained multiple injuries following an assault by a co-worker. The patient suffered a one-inch head laceration, a swollen eye, and jaw pain. Firefighters provided initial care before he was transported by private ambulance to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center for treatment and evaluation.
  • Motor Vehicle Accident (Auburn): On Wednesday, January 28th at 5:28 p.m., VRFA firefighters responded to a two-vehicle collision. Two patients were evaluated on scene. One was transported by private ambulance to Valley Medical Center, and the second, who sustained more serious injuries, was treated by King County Medic One paramedics and transported by firefighters to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center for further care.
  • Motor Vehicle Accident (Auburn): On Thursday, January 29th at 7:16 a.m., VRFA firefighters responded to a two-vehicle collision that caused one vehicle to roll over. Crews arrived to find both southbound lanes of A Street SE blocked, with one vehicle on its roof and all occupants safely out. Firefighters evaluated the patients on scene; fortunately, there were no serious injuries and no further medical care was required.
  • Residential Fire (Auburn): On Friday, January 30th at 7:26 a.m., VRFA firefighters responded to a residential fire. Crews arrived to find fire in the garage and quickly brought it under control. Firefighters conducted primary searches and checked for extension into the home, confirming no victims and no fire spread beyond the garage. Once the fire was extinguished, crews ventilated the structure to clear smoke.
  • Aid Call (Auburn): On Saturday, January 31st at 4:06 p.m., VRFA firefighters responded to an adult female experiencing chest pain. Firefighters evaluated the patient on scene before she was transported by private ambulance to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center for further evaluation.
