The City of Auburn will be continuing its “Safe Auburn: Community Conversations” series this month, inviting residents to engage in discussions about public safety, share ideas, and learn about strategies for improving the community.
This second phase of the conversations focuses on solutions and resources to address the challenges identified in earlier meetings.
Schedule:
- Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2025 at West Auburn High School
- Thursday, Jan. 23 at Mt. Baker Middle School
- Tuesday, Jan. 28 at Auburn Mountainview High School
- Thursday, Feb. 6 at Chinook Elementary School
All sessions will run from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
“We heard you, and we’re back with answers, strategies, and resources,” the City of Auburn said in a statement, encouraging community members to bring friends, neighbors, and colleagues to these important discussions.
Light refreshments will be served, and the events are open to all Auburn residents.
For those who missed the first series of meetings, the city is offering opportunities to catch up and share input through online resources.
Residents are encouraged to attend and participate in shaping the future of Auburn’s safety and well-being.
The meetings are part of Auburn’s broader effort to foster engagement and collaboration between city officials and the community.
Key topics include identifying actionable safety measures and strengthening connections between residents and local resources.
