Here are 911 Calls for Service responded to by the Valley Regional Fire Authority (VRFA) from April 27 – May 3, 2026
- Electrical Fire (Unincorporated Auburn): On Monday, April 27th at 3:55 p.m., VRFA firefighters responded to reports of an electrical fire in a residence. Crews determined that ongoing construction had caused electrical issues in the home. Puget Sound Energy was contacted and responded to address the problem.
- Aid Call (Auburn): On Tuesday, April 28th, VRFA firefighters responded to an adult female experiencing chest pain. Firefighters evaluated the patient and requested King County Medic One paramedics for further assessment of a possible cardiac event. Firefighters and paramedics treated the patient on scene before she was transported by paramedics to a local hospital for further care.
- Passenger Vehicle Fire (Auburn): On Wednesday, April 29th at 10:20 a.m., VRFA firefighters responded to a passenger vehicle fire in a parking lot. Firefighters arrived to find an SUV fully involved and quickly deployed a hose line to extinguish the fire. No injuries to the occupant or firefighters were reported.
- Aid Call (Lea Hill): On Thursday, April 30th at 7:15 p.m., VRFA firefighters responded to an elderly female who had fallen while carrying groceries and injured her head and face. Firefighters evaluated and treated the patient on scene before she was transported by private ambulance to Valley Medical Center for further care.
- Vehicle Fire (Pacific): On Friday, May 1st at 1:03 p.m., VRFA firefighters responded to a pickup truck fire. Crews used a hose line to extinguish the fire. No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire is undetermined.
- Aid Call (Auburn): On Saturday, May 2nd at 4:04 p.m., VRFA firefighters and King County Medic One paramedics responded to an adult male who was intoxicated and experiencing chest discomfort. Firefighters and paramedics evaluated the patient on scene before he was transported by private ambulance to a local emergency department for further care.
- Electrical Fire (Algona): On Sunday, May 3rd at 10:55 a.m., VRFA firefighters responded to a report of an electrical fire in a detached garage. Firefighters arrived to find the fire had already been extinguished by the homeowner and confirmed it had not extended into the attic space. The fire was determined to have been caused by ants inside a fluorescent light fixture, which led to an electrical short and a small fire.
