VRFA Blotter: CPR, head-on collision, robbery assault & more

Here are 911 Calls for Service responded to by the Valley Regional Fire Authority (VRFA) from Jan. 29–Feb. 4, 2024:

  • Aid Call: (Auburn) On Monday, January 29th, at 10:31 a.m., VRFA firefighters responded to a male who had a seizure. Firefighters evaluated the patient on the scene. The patient was transported to a local hospital by private ambulance.
  • Aid Call: (Pacific) On Tuesday, January 30th at 7:57 a.m. VRFA firefighters responded to a report of a man who had passed out at work. Firefighters found the man with stable vital signs and no known cause for the syncopal episode. A coworker took the patient to a local urgent care clinic.
  • CPR: (Auburn) On Wednesday, January 31st, at 9:49 p.m., VRFA firefighters responded to an adult female complaining of cardiac arrest. Firefighters arrived to find Auburn PD performing
  • Motor Vehicle Accident (Lakeland Hills): On Thursday, February 1st, at 9:25 p.m., VRFA firefighters responded to a two-car head-on collision at Lake Tapps Parkway and Lakeland Hills BLVD. Une occupant sustained minor injuries and was treated on the scene by firefighters. The occupant was transported to MultiCare Auburn.
  • Aid Call: (Lakeland Hills) On Friday, February 2nd, at 12:21 p.m., VRFA firefighters responded to an adult male who had knee pain due to a recent surgery. The patient was treated and evaluated by firefighters and transported to a local hospital by private ambulance.
  • Aid Call: (Pacific) On Saturday, February 3rd, at 9:21 a.m., VRFA firefighters responded to a male patient not breathing in front of the library. The patient was treated by the firefighters on the scene with Narcan. The patient was transported to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center via private ambulance.
  • Aid Call: (Auburn) On Sunday, February 4th at 9:14 p.m., VRFA firefighters responded to an adult male who had been assaulted as part of a robbery at Walgreens. Firefighters arrived to provide care and evaluated the patient, who was transported to a local area hospital by private ambulance for continued care.
