Second shooting in Auburn on Tuesday leaves teen injured; 2 juvenile suspects in custody

A 15-year-old boy was shot Tuesday afternoon at the Auburn Sounder Station, marking the second shooting reported in the city on May 27, 2025.

Auburn Police officers responded just after 2:30 p.m. to the station, where they found the teen suffering from at least one gunshot wound. He was treated at the scene and transported to Harborview Medical Center. His current condition has not been released.

According to police, a 15-year-old male suspect was taken into custody shortly after the shooting. A second suspect, also a juvenile, was located and arrested later in the day.

This incident followed a fatal shooting that occurred earlier Tuesday morning in a residential neighborhood near the 11200 block of SE 323rd Street, where 21-year-old Keivon Cash Bias died after being shot multiple times.

Investigators are continuing to piece together the events leading up to the shooting at the transit station.
