Four people were shot Monday afternoon, Feb. 9 inside an apartment in Auburn, and police said there is no ongoing threat to the community.
Officers with the Auburn Police Department responded at about 4:20 p.m. Feb. 9 to reports of a shooting in the 900 block of 26th Street NE (map below), according to a department press release.
When officers arrived, they located three adult female victims inside an apartment who had sustained gunshot wounds. All three were stabilized at the scene and transported to Harborview Medical Center for further treatment.
In an update, Auburn police said a fourth person who was also shot was later located at Westfield Southcenter Mall in Tukwila. Police said everyone involved in the incident has been accounted for and investigators believe there is no ongoing threat to the community.
Detectives remained at the scene and are actively investigating as they follow potential leads and work to identify anyone else who might be involved.
