Multiple fire crews are actively working to extinguish a brush fire near Game Farm Wilderness Park in Auburn on Friday, July 12, 2024, according to Valley Regional Fire Authority.

The fire, approximately 50 feet by 50 feet in size, broke out on Friday afternoon.

One individual sustained minor injuries before the fire department arrived and has been transported to a nearby hospital.

Currently, no homes are at risk from the blaze.

Authorities have implemented a road closure at Stuck River Drive and Kersey Way as crews continue their efforts to control and extinguish the fire.
