Here are 911 Calls for Service responded to by the Valley Regional Fire Authority (VRFA) from Dec. 8–14, 2025:
- Aid Call (Auburn): On Monday, December 8th at 12:47 p.m., VRFA firefighters responded to an adult female who had experienced a seizure at a local supermarket. Firefighters assessed and treated the patient on scene before she was transported by private ambulance to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center for further evaluation and care.
- Aid Call (Pacific): On Tuesday, December 9th at 10:37 a.m., VRFA firefighters responded to an adult male experiencing weakness. Firefighters evaluated and treated the patient on scene before he was transported by private ambulance to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center for further care.
- Aid Call (Auburn): On Wednesday, December 10th at 3:20 p.m., VRFA firefighters and King County Medic One paramedics responded to an elderly male experiencing chest pain. Firefighters arrived to find the patient showing signs of a cardiac incident. He was treated on scene by firefighters and paramedics before being transported by paramedics to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center for further care.
- Minor Fire (Auburn): On Thursday, December 11th at 9:27 a.m., VRFA firefighters responded to reports of smoke inside a single-family home. Crews determined a furnace filter within the HVAC system had caught fire, filling the house with smoke. Damage was limited to the unit and nearby ductwork, and firefighters ventilated the home. No injuries were reported.
- Aid Call (Auburn): On Friday, December 12th at 6:20 p.m., VRFA firefighters responded to an adult male experiencing throat irritation from gasoline fumes following a fuel spill caused by flooding in the area. Firefighters evaluated the patient on scene before he was transported by private ambulance to a local hospital for further care.
- Water Rescue (Auburn): On Saturday, December 13th at 4:22 p.m., VRFA firefighters responded to assist two occupants stranded on top of their vehicle in floodwater. Firefighters from VRFA and Puget Sound Regional Fire Authority used kayaks to safely rescue both individuals. No injuries were reported.
- Water Rescue (Auburn): On Sunday, December 14th at 9:31 a.m., VRFA firefighters responded to an adult female who had driven into standing water and became stranded, unable to exit her vehicle safely. Firefighters, wearing protective gear, entered the water and successfully assisted the woman from her vehicle, reuniting her with family on dry ground.
