Auburn extends warming center hours as freezing temperatures persist

With overnight temperatures expected to remain below freezing, the City of Auburn has announced an extension of warming center hours at the Ray of Hope Resource Center from Feb. 2 through Feb. 5.

The warming center, located at 2806 Auburn Way North (map below), will provide shelter for those in need during dangerously cold nights.

  • Check-in: 9 p.m.
  • Check-out: 7 a.m.

City officials will monitor weather conditions and reassess the need for additional extensions on Wednesday, Feb. 5.
