Teen injured in shooting at Auburn mobile home park Wednesday night; suspect fled on dirt bike

A 17-year-old male was shot Wednesday night, May 21, 2025 near the entrance of College Place Mobile Home Park in Auburn, and police are asking the public for help identifying the suspect.

Officers from the Auburn Police Department responded to the 31600 block of 126th Avenue SE (map below) just before 7:45 p.m. Wednesday night, after receiving multiple reports of shots fired in the area.

Upon arrival, officers found the teen suffering from at least one gunshot wound. He was transported to a nearby hospital with injuries that appeared to be non-life threatening, police said.

According to the initial investigation, the victim was walking near the mobile home park entrance when a suspect approached on a dirt bike, dismounted, and fired at least one shot before fleeing the scene.

As of Thursday morning, no suspects are in custody.
