SAVE THE DATE: Auburn will host its annual Petpalooza event on Saturday, May 16, offering a full day of pet focused activities, entertainment and community engagement.
The event, organized by Auburn Parks, Arts and Recreation, is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Game Farm Park, located at 3030 R Street SE (map below).
According to the City of Auburn, Petpalooza will feature more than 150 vendors, live animal entertainment, a petting zoo and agility and fly dog demonstrations. The event will also include children’s activities, a barn hunt, a pet contest and live music, along with a beer garden.
A highlight of the day is the 3K and 5K Dog Trot, which begins at 9:30 a.m. Registration pricing varies depending on timing, with advance and day of event options available. Participation includes a T shirt, race bib and finisher medal, according to event organizers.
The 2026 Petpalooza poster dog, named Pele, is also featured as part of this year’s event promotion.
