Auburn Police were called to Wesley Homes on Sunday morning, Jan. 11 after a goat attempted to enter the building, prompting officers to respond and secure the animal, according to the department.
Police said the goat was safely detained while officers contacted the owner.
A friend of the owner later arrived and picked up the animal.
Once the situation was under control, officers placed the goat on a leash to ensure it could be safely handled until it was released to the owner’s friend.
Police identified the goat as “Ruby,” and said no charges were filed.
“Meet Ruby! Charges were dropped due to extreme adorableness,” police said.
