‘Petpalooza,’ Auburn’s popular festival for pets and their families, returns to Game Farm Park on Saturday, May 17, 2025, offering a day packed with live entertainment, animal encounters, and family-friendly activities.
Presented by HICC Pet, this free event starts at 10 a.m. and draws thousands of animal lovers each year.
Highlights include live music, food trucks, the crowd-pleasing Canine Stars Stunt Dog Show, and a 15-by-50-foot petting zoo filled with wallabies, goats, sheep, chickens, and rabbits. “The best animal act ever!” is how America’s Got Talent’s Howie Mandel described the Canine Stars, who will perform four times throughout the day.
Other attractions include roller-skating parrots, pony rides, Reptile Isle, agility courses, Seattle FlyDogs demonstrations, and the Emerald Downs “Unleashed” Pet Contest.
Kids can enjoy face painting, inflatable rides, hands-on art, and plenty of animal-themed fun—all for free.
The festival opens with the Dog Trot Fun Run at 9:30 a.m., where participants and their pups can choose a 3K or 5K route.
The event’s array of vendors will offer animal adoptions, low-cost pet services, samples, and pet products, while food options range from burgers and pizza to kettle corn and ice cream.
“This pet lover’s haven for you and your four-legged family member or other furry friend begins at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 17,” organizers said.
