The following is the Auburn police blotter and references criminal acts that may upset some readers.
From the Auburn Police Department’s Public Information Log for July 9, 2023:
- A domestic assault occurred at a residence on G St SE around 5:45 a.m. The responding officer obtained video evidence of the incident.
- A vehicle prowl occurred in the parking lot of Walmart on Outlet Collection Dr SW around 9:35 a.m. The responding officer obtained video evidence of the incident. The vehicle was also vandalized.
- A vehicle was stolen from the 3900 block of I St NW sometime between July 7 and July 9. The responding officer reported the theft and vandalism of the vehicle.
- A vehicle was stolen near the 800 block of 45th St NE around 10:03 a.m. The responding officer obtained video evidence of the theft.
- A window was broken in the 2400 block of F St SE sometime between July 8 and July 9. The responding officer reported the vandalism.
- A burglary occurred near the 1300 block of 22nd St NE around 12:44 p.m. The responding officer obtained video evidence of the burglary.
- A vehicle was stolen from the 800 block of 7th St SE sometime between 3:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. The responding officer reported the theft.
- A purse containing a gun was stolen after the owner dropped it and left it unattended near the 1000 block of 10th St NE around 1:30 p.m. The responding officer reported the theft and the firearm.
- A rear license plate was stolen from a vehicle in the 700 block of 10th St NE sometime between 12:40 p.m. and 2:40 p.m. The responding officer obtained video evidence of the theft.
- An audible alarm was triggered at a commercial building on the 1400 block of 20th St NW around 6:30 p.m. The responding officer investigated the alarm and found no signs of burglary.
- An assault and criminal trespass occurred on the 1700 block of Auburn Way N around 7:20 p.m. The responding officer obtained video evidence of the incident and arrested the suspect.
- A male was arrested for shoplifting at a store on Outlet Collection Way SW around 9:45 p.m. The responding officer obtained video evidence of the theft.
- A trespassing incident occurred at a residence on the 1200 block of A St NE around 11:30 p.m. The responding officer reported the incident and issued a warning to the trespasser.
