The officer quickly spotted the vehicle, and a short pursuit began.

After stopping the vehicle, police arrested the 18-year-old male suspect and booked him into the King County Jail on multiple felony charges.

A female (20) was hit by the vehicle inside the park and is believed to have been known by the driver.

The victim was transported to a local hospital for their injuries.

“Early investigation leads officers to believe that this could most likely be a domestic violence situation, and the driver was targeting a significant other,” police said. “One of his charges is for DV Assault in the First Degree.”
