Come over this Thursday evening to celebrate poetry with Auburn’s past and present Poets Laureate.

Poems from the Poet Laureate chapbook will be read at the event, and copies of the chapbook will be given to attendees.

Auburn’s past Poets Laureate include:

  • Susan Landgraf (2018-2020)
  • Marjorie Rommel (2015-2017)

There will also be a panel discussion with the current Poet Laureate Mateo Acuña, along with former Poets Laureate.

Attendees can bring their questions for discussion.

Abby Murray, former Poet Laureate of Tacoma, will emcee the event and moderate the panel discussion.

“We hope you can join us to celebrate National Poetry Month and our wonderful Poets Laureate.”
