On Mar. 14, 2024, just after 9:30 p.m., Auburn Police responded to a report of a carjacking with a gun at the MultiCare Auburn Medical Center (map below).
Police said that during the carjacking, a Toyota Highlander was stolen, but luckily no one was injured.
The stolen Toyota was tracked to Federal Way, and was located shortly after the original incident.
When officers attempted to stop the vehicle, the suspects fled in it, colliding with a patrol vehicle.
Auburn and Federal Way PD officers pursued the vehicle a short distance before three suspects fled the vehicle on foot. Two of the three suspects (one juvenile, 17, and one adult, 23) were quickly apprehended.
There is still an active investigation for other involved suspects.
