City of Auburn

Located in the State of Washington, the City of Auburn is situated some 20 miles south of Seattle and approximately 20 miles north of Tacoma.  Primarily in King County, a small portion of the city is in Pierce County.  The city spans just under 30 square miles and has a mixture of rural and urban areas.  Currently ranked the fourteenth largest city in the state of Washington by the Washington Office of Financial Management, the 2014 population estimate has Auburn’s population approximated just over 76,000 residents.

One of Auburn’s cultural highlights is the Muckleshoot Indian Tribe.
