Here are 911 Calls for Service responded to by the Valley Regional Fire Authority (VRFA) from May 26–June 1, 2025:
- Vehicle Accident: (Auburn) On Monday, May 26th at 8:05 a.m., VRFA firefighters responded to a collision involving a passenger vehicle and a semi-truck on Highway 167. The impact punctured the semi-truck’s fuel tank, causing a fuel spill along the southbound lanes. The passenger vehicle sustained significant damage, but the occupant had only minor injuries. The patient was treated on scene and transported to a local hospital by a VRFA aid unit.
- Shooting: (Auburn) On Tuesday, May 27th at 2:34 p.m., VRFA firefighters responded to a reported shooting at the Sounder Station. They arrived to find one patient with a gunshot wound to the abdomen. VRFA firefighters and King County Medic One paramedics provided treatment on scene before the patient was transported to Harborview Medical Center for further care.
- Motor Vehicle Accident: (Lakeland Hills) On Wednesday, May 28th at 6:35 p.m., VRFA firefighters and King County Medic One paramedics responded to a report of a juvenile male who had fallen from a moving vehicle. Personnel arrived to find the patient unconscious in the roadway with serious head injuries. He was treated on scene and transported to Harborview Medical Center by paramedics for further care.
- Car Fire: (Auburn) On Wednesday, May 28th at 11:20 a.m., VRFA firefighters responded to a car fire in the parking lot of a grocery store. Flames were coming from the engine compartment, and bystanders were attempting to extinguish it with a fire extinguisher. Firefighters quickly put out the fire, preventing it from spreading to the nearby building.
- Motor Vehicle Accident: (Auburn) On Thursday, May 29th at 1:42 p.m., VRFA firefighters responded to a single-vehicle rollover accident on SR 167. They arrived to find a vehicle that had left the roadway, rolled over, and was facing the wrong direction in traffic. The patient was evaluated and treated on scene before being transported to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center.
- Aid Call: (Auburn) On Friday, May 30th, 2025, at 4:24 p.m., VRFA firefighters responded to an adult male with a leg injury sustained during an assault. Firefighters treated the patient on scene. He was transported to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center by family.
- Minor Fire: (Auburn) On Saturday, May 31st, 2025, at 12:00 p.m., VRFA firefighters responded to an automatic fire alarm. Upon arrival, crews found a small item burning on top of a kiln. The fire was quickly extinguished, and the room was ventilated. The alarm system was reset and returned to service.
- Aid Call: (Lea Hill) On Sunday, June 1st at 12:30 p.m., VRFA firefighters responded to an adult male who sustained a head injury from a fall. The patient was evaluated and treated on scene before being transported to Valley Medical Center for further care.
