VRFA Blotter: Plane crash, chest pain, allergic reaction, fire & more

Here are 911 Calls for Service responded to by the Valley Regional Fire Authority (VRFA) from Nov. 3–Nov. 9, 2025:

  • Aid Call (Auburn): On Monday, November 3rd at 5:40 p.m., VRFA firefighters and King County Medic One paramedics responded to an adult male found unresponsive by family. Firefighters and paramedics evaluated and treated the patient on scene before he was transported by paramedics to a local hospital for further care.
  • Aid Call (Auburn): On Tuesday, November 4th at 10:16 a.m., VRFA firefighters responded to an adult female who was pregnant and in active labor. Firefighters and King County Medic One paramedics evaluated the patient on scene before she was transported by King County Medic One to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center for further care.
  • Aid Call (Algona): On Wednesday, November 5th at 5:28 p.m., VRFA firefighters and King County Medic One paramedics responded to an adult male experiencing chest pain. Firefighters evaluated the patient on scene before he was transported by private ambulance to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center for further care.
  • Aid Call (Auburn): On Thursday, November 6th at 11:00 a.m., VRFA firefighters responded to a teenage female experiencing an allergic reaction. Firefighters treated the patient on scene before she was transported by private ambulance to a local hospital for further care.
  • Plane Crash (Pacific): On Friday, November 7th at 1:32 p.m., VRFA firefighters responded to reports of a small plane down in a field across the street from Alpac Elementary. Firefighters made contact with the pilot and passenger, who had safely exited the aircraft. There were no injuries, and both individuals remained on scene with Pacific Police Department.
  • Structure Fire (Auburn): On Saturday, November 8th at 4:37 p.m., VRFA firefighters responded to reports of smoke and fire in a single unit of a three-story apartment building. Crews found smoke coming from the chimney area, with the sprinkler system controlling the fire. Firefighters confirmed all occupants were safe, and no injuries were reported. The cause is under investigation.
  • Illegal Burn Complaint (Auburn): On Sunday, November 9th at 5:02 p.m., VRFA firefighters responded to a report of an illegal burn. Firefighters educated the occupants on the requirements for recreational fires and outdoor burning.
