Here are 911 Calls for Service responded to by the Valley Regional Fire Authority (VRFA) from Jan. 5–Jan. 11, 2026:
- Motor Vehicle Accident (Pacific): On Monday, January 5th at 10:14 a.m., VRFA firefighters responded with Washington State Patrol to a two-vehicle collision on northbound SR 167. Firefighters treated an adult female for a minor knee injury, and she remained on scene with State Patrol.
- Aid Call (Auburn): On Tuesday, January 6th at 9:45 p.m., VRFA firefighters responded to an elderly male experiencing dizziness and an irregular heart rate. Firefighters evaluated the patient for a possible stroke before he was transported by private ambulance to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center for further care.
- Vehicle into Building (Auburn): On Wednesday, January 7th at 5:16 p.m., VRFA firefighters responded to a report of a vehicle that had collided with a residence. Firefighters arrived to find the driver uninjured and moderate damage to the home that did not compromise its structural integrity. Two families living in the residence were temporarily relocated due to a power outage caused by the crash.
- Fire Alarm (Auburn): On Thursday, January 8th at 2:15 p.m., VRFA firefighters responded to a residential fire alarm activated by ADT. Crews arrived to find the home’s doors and windows open, and upon contact, the resident explained that she and her daughter had set off the smoke alarm while learning to cook steak for the first time. Firefighters ventilated the home and provided a brief safety lesson on proper cooking techniques.
- Aid Call (Auburn): On Friday, January 9th at 8:10 a.m., VRFA firefighters responded to a skilled nursing facility for reports of an unresponsive elderly male. Firefighters evaluated the patient and requested an Advanced Life Support response. The patient was treated on scene by firefighters and King County Medic One paramedics before being transported by paramedics to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center for further care.
- Aid Call (Auburn): On Saturday, January 10th at 3:28 p.m., VRFA firefighters responded to an elderly female experiencing eye and wrist pain after a fall. Firefighters evaluated the patient on scene before she was transported by private ambulance to a local hospital for further care.
- Aid Call (Auburn): On Sunday, January 11th at 9:40 a.m., VRFA firefighters responded to a nursing home for a resident experiencing multiple medical symptoms. Firefighters treated the patient on scene before he was transported by private ambulance to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center for further care.
