The City of Auburn is encouraging residents to take an active role in keeping the community clean, safe, and well-maintained by using its online citizen reporting system. City officials continue to promote the system as a simple and effective way for residents to report everyday issues that impact neighborhoods across Auburn.
The direct access point is at the Online Citizen Reporting page, where the SeeClickFix logo is displayed. SeeClickFix is a free app the City of Auburn provides for reporting non-emergency concerns.
The process is designed to be quick and simple. Residents can take a photo, add a short description, and send a report directly to the city within minutes. Once submitted, the report is routed to the appropriate department for review and action. Users receive updates through the system as the issue is assigned, reviewed, and completed, which allows residents to see progress in real time.
Common issues reported through the system include abandoned vehicles, graffiti, potholes, trash left in the streets, and overgrown vegetation. These types of problems may seem small by their selves, but when reported and addressed consistently, they lead to noticeable improvements across entire neighborhoods and the city.
City officials stress that the system is intended for routine maintenance and community concerns. It is not a replacement for emergency services. Residents should continue to call 911 for any urgent or dangerous situation that requires immediate response.
One of the key advantages of the system is accessibility. Residents can create a username to track their reports, or they can choose to submit issues anonymously. The app is free to download on both iPhone and Android, and for those who prefer not to use a mobile device, reports can also be submitted online through the same Online Citizen Reporting page on the City of Auburn website.
The city emphasizes that small actions from residents can lead to meaningful results. Taking a few moments to report an issue can help improve our streets, neighborhoods, and public spaces. As an Auburn resident who has used the SeeClickFix app for several years, it has been a valuable tool for getting issues fixed in my immediate neighborhood, which helps me confidently say Auburn is a city I am proud to live in.
Per the city:
“Auburn functions at its best when everyone participates.”
