The incident began at 1:59 a.m. when officers responded to numerous 911 calls reporting gunshots near the 31800 block of 120th Avenue SE near Green River College (map below).

Upon arrival, officers received a report from a local hospital that a 39-year-old woman had been admitted with a gunshot wound.

Initial investigations suggest that the shooting resulted from a verbal dispute inside a housing unit, which escalated to gunfire. The woman’s condition is currently unknown, but she is reportedly cooperating with authorities.
