Here are 911 Calls for Service responded to by the Valley Regional Fire Authority (VRFA) from Dec. 11–Dec. 17, 2023:
Residential Fire: (Pacific) On Monday, December 11th at 11:59 a.m., firefighters from the Valley Regional Fire Authority were dispatched to a residential fire in Pacific, with reported smoke and flames showing from a back deck. VRFA crews arrived quickly to provide swift action and aggressively performed a fire attack on the structure. Crews were able to extinguish the fire, minimize further structure exposure involvement, and ensure there were no occupants inside the home. There is extensive damage to the structure and the fire is under investigation by the Fire Marshall.
Aid Call: (Auburn) On Tuesday, December 12th at 3:30 p.m., firefighters responded to an adult male who suffered Cardiac arrest. Firefighters and paramedics treated the patient on the scene. Patient. regained pulse in the field and was transported by paramedics to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center for continued care.
Motor Vehicle Accident: (Auburn) On Wednesday, December 13th at 3:57 p.m., firefighters responded to a two-car head-on collision. Firefighters arrived to find a woman and her young daughter complaining of minor injuries. Both were treated at the scene and then transported by VRFA personnel to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center.
Aid Call: (Auburn) On Thursday, December 14th at 12:37 p.m., firefighters responded to an unconscious adult female. Firefighters and King County Medics treated the patient on scene. She was transported to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center by private ambulance.
Aid Call: (Auburn) On Friday, December 15th at 1:53 p.m., firefighters with King County Medics and Auburn Police responded to an unconscious and unresponsive adult male. The patient was treated for an opioid overdose on scene with Narcan and transported to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center by private ambulance.
Motor Vehicle Accident: (Auburn) On Saturday, December 16th at 9:48 a.m., firefighters were called to reports of a vehicle into a fence. Firefighters arrived to find two cars with moderate damage and one patient complaining of chest pain. Firefighters treated the patient, and he was transported to MultiCare Auburn by private ambulance
Aid Call: (Lea Hill) On Sunday, December 17th at 2:49 p.m., firefighters responded to an adult male who suffered a gunshot wound to the torso. Firefighters and paramedics treated the patient on the scene. He was transported to Auburn Airport by Medics and then to Harborview Medical Center by Airlift Northwest for continued care.
