Man fatally shot in Auburn early Tuesday, police investigating

A man was shot and killed early Tuesday morning in Auburn, and police are asking for the public’s help as they investigate the incident.

Officers with the Auburn Police Department responded to reports of gunfire around 12:15 a.m. in the 11200 block of SE 323rd Street (map below).

Multiple 911 callers had reported hearing several gunshots in the area.

Upon arrival, officers found an adult male suffering from at least one gunshot wound.

The victim received emergency medical aid at the scene and was transported to Harborview Medical Center, where sadly, he later died from his injuries.

As of Tuesday morning, no suspects have been identified or located.
