Juvenile critically injured in Auburn shooting Tuesday night; police seek information

A male juvenile was critically injured in a shooting on Tuesday night, Dec. 18, 2024, in Auburn, police said.

Officers responded to the 600 block of L Place SE (map below) at around 9:40 p.m. after reports of gunfire.

The victim, found with at least one gunshot wound to the abdomen, was rushed to Harborview Medical Center in critical condition.

“There are no suspects at this time, and Auburn Police do not believe the incident was random,” police said in a statement.
