Public Health – Seattle & King County is holding a free vaccination clinic at Federal Way High School. All K-12 students up to age 18 can catch up on vaccines.
Vaccinations keep kids healthy, strong, and ready to learn!
Vaccines available:
– Measles (MMR)
– Varicella (chicken pox)
– Hepatitis B
– Polio
– DTaP
– Tdap
Routine vaccinations protect your child from 14 different life-threatening diseases before they even turn two. That means they can focus on playing, learning, and growing – not on being sick. When your child gets vaccinated, you’re also helping to protect the most vulnerable members of our community, like infants, the elderly, and people who are too ill to receive vaccines.
No appointment is necessary! More info at kingcounty.gov/vaccineclinic
Why Is It Important For My Child To Be Vaccinated?
The bottom line: vaccines could save your child’s life.
Still looking for reasons to vaccinate? Vaccines are required for school entry. That’s because vaccine-preventable diseases can quickly spread in school settings. In the event of an outbreak, students who aren’t vaccinated could be excluded for up to 21 days at a time, potentially interrupting your ability to work.
