Auburn Police are trying to reunite a found snake with its owner after the animal was discovered near the Mallard Pointe at Riverbend Apartments (map below), according to the department.
Police said the snake was found “slithering around” the apartment complex on Monday, July 13, and is being kept by the department until its owner can be located.
“Anyone missing a snake?” the department said in its notice.
Anyone who recognizes the snake as their pet is asked to email [email protected].
No other details about the snake or where specifically it was found were provided.
