Here are 911 Calls for Service responded to by the Valley Regional Fire Authority (VRFA) from June 9–June 15, 2025:
- Aid Call: (Lea Hill) On Monday, June 9th at 9:00 a.m., VRFA firefighters responded to an adult male who suffered an overdose. Firefighters treated the patient on scene, and he was transported to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center for continued care.
- Garage Fire: (Auburn) On Tuesday, June 10th at 2:21 p.m., VRFA firefighters responded to reports of garbage on fire at an apartment complex. While en route, Valley Communications received multiple reports of the fire spreading to nearby structures. VRFA firefighters, along with units from South King Fire and Rescue and Puget Sound Regional Fire Authority, quickly extinguished the flames, which had spread to several garage units and threatened nearby vehicles and apartment buildings. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
- Aid Call: (Auburn) On Wednesday, June 11th, VRFA firefighters responded to reports of an ill elderly male. Firefighters evaluated and treated the patient on scene, and he was transported to a local hospital by private ambulance.
- Aid Call: (Auburn) On Thursday, June 12th at 4:50 p.m., VRFA firefighters responded to an adult male in cardiac arrest. Firefighters and King County Medics provided CPR on scene, and the patient was transported to Harborview Medical Center by medics for further care.
- Aid Call: (Pacific) On Friday, June 13th at 7:48 a.m., VRFA firefighters responded to assist an adult male with getting into his new hospital bed. The crew helped the patient and his caregiver, then left the patient in the care of his caregiver.
- Elevator Rescue: (Auburn) On Saturday, June 14th at 5:01 p.m., VRFA firefighters responded to a report of occupants trapped in an elevator. Upon arrival, firefighters found seven occupants trapped between the first and second floors, with one experiencing a medical emergency. After attempts to reset the system and access the patients through the doors were unsuccessful, an additional rescue crew from Puget Sound Regional Fire Authority responded. VRFA and PSRFA rescue technicians successfully removed the occupants from inside the elevator shaft from above.
- Brush Fire: (South Auburn) On Sunday, June 15th at 5:53 p.m., VRFA firefighters responded to reports of brush and trees on fire. Firefighters knocked down the fire and overhauled hot spots using rope systems.
