The Senate Early Learning & K-12 Education Committee heard public testimony on House Bill 1974, which would move state board of education and educational service district elections to the Washington State school director’s association.
The bill passed the house 95-1, and if it passes the Senate, would go to the Governor’s office for an opportunity to be signed into law.
