City of Auburn to host four more public meetings on crime prevention

The City of Auburn and Mayor Nancy Backus will host a series of four community meetings across the city to address crime concerns, share updates, and gather feedback from residents.

The meetings will include presentations on what city officials learned during previous discussions, along with new strategies and resources to address neighborhood crime.

The meetings will take place at four locations, each beginning at 5:30 p.m.:

  • West Auburn High School on Tuesday, Jan. 14
  • Mt. Baker Middle School on Thursday, Jan. 23
  • Auburn Mountainview High School on Tuesday, Jan. 28
  • Chinook Elementary School on Thursday, Feb. 6

Residents are encouraged to attend and participate in the conversation.

For those who missed the initial series of meetings, updates and opportunities to share input are available at SpeakUpAuburn.org.

Light refreshments will be provided at all meeting locations.
