The Auburn Symphony Orchestra (ASO) has announced its 2025–26 season, themed “The Summit Season,” a lineup designed to showcase powerful symphonic works, celebrate nature, and spotlight both established and emerging talent.

The season opens Oct. 12, 2025 with This Beautiful Earth, featuring conductor Wesley Schulz and guitarist Jiji in a program that includes Gabriela Lena Frank’s Elegía Andina, Joaquín Rodrigo’s Concierto de Aranjuez, and Mendelssohn’s Symphony No. 4 “Italian.”

“This season is about soaring sounds and majestic moments,” ASO stated in its season preview. “Every concert offers something extraordinary.”

One of the season’s highlights includes a commissioned world premiere by composer Stephen Lias titled It Stands Alone, a tribute to Mount Rainier National Park’s 125th anniversary, which will debut March 29 during Summit, Myths & Music.

The Holiday Spectacular returns Dec. 8 with vocalist Jimmie Herrod, followed by Joyful Triumph on Jan. 25 featuring violinist Rachel Lee Priday and Prokofiev’s Symphony No. 5.

On Feb. 21, ASO will bring Hollywood to the stage with Night at the Oscars, a cinematic concert experience at the Federal Way Performing Arts & Event Center.
