Auburn Police are encouraging community members to register their events for National Night Out, a yearly celebration of neighborhood safety and police-community partnerships set to take place on Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2025.
Organizers of block parties, cookouts and other neighborhood gatherings are asked to register their events through the city’s website to receive a visit from Auburn Police Department officers and city representatives.
“Many communities throughout the city will host a variety of special events such as block parties, cookouts to get better acquainted with neighbors and promote a more connected Auburn,” the city said in a statement. “When registration is open, you can request a visit from City of Auburn police, staff and/or elected officials — keep this page bookmarked and we’ll see you soon!”
The annual event is designed to promote police-community partnerships, strengthen neighborhood spirit and send a message to criminals that communities are organized and looking out for each other.
