Why did you choose to compete?
I chose to compete because it is an amazing opportunity! I love to learn new things, meet new people, and better my skills in public speaking.

What are you most excited about in the competition?
I am honestly most excited for interviews: I am looking forward to being able to express my views and get personal with the judges!

What are you most nervous about in the competition?
I am most nervous for the on-stage question: there is so much suspense in that area although I am excited, it is a bit nerve-racking not knowing what to expect!

What is your talent, and why did you choose it?
My talent is a vocal piece: Walking After Midnight-Patsy Cline. I chose this piece because it allows me to show my personality to the audience, and have some fun!

What is your platform?
My platform is: Stop Bullying, Speak Up. This is a topic I am very passionate about, as I have personal experience. I am a big advocate for victims of bullies, I started an Instagram page to spread awareness called: ListeningFoundation in hopes to reach people who might need help, or encouragement. As well as have opened my direct messages if someone feels they need advice/help

Why is your platform important to you?
My platform is important to me because I have personally experienced the effects. Bullying is something that is extremely defeating and unfortunately widespread throughout social settings. Since I have experienced bullying, I never want anybody else to go through the struggle I did. That is why I am here to help and advocate for young people going through that same struggle.

What does representing Auburn as Miss Auburn’s Outstanding Teen mean to you?
It means being able to be a leader in the community and making a lasting impact on everyone I meet. I love to help people, this title really would give me more opportunities to reach people than I ever have before. I honestly can say I would love this opportunity to spread my message of love and positivity to everyone in the greater Auburn area.
