GreenSheen Eco-Friendly Paint, in partnership with the City of Kent, will host a free paint recycling event on Saturday, Oct. 25, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Hogan Park (map below).
The event will accept a range of common paints and finishes, and offers online registration and details for participants.
Organizers say accepted materials include oil-based paint, acrylic and latex paint, stains, shellacs, lacquers, sealers, varnishes and urethanes.
Items not accepted include spray paint, paint thinner, solvents, cleaning agents, adhesives, roof patch and drywall mud.
