Auburn residents will have several opportunities this fall to sit down with Mayor Nancy Backus and city leaders during a new series of community Town Halls designed to spark dialogue about the city’s future.
The “Community Conversations” series will run from Sept. 23 through Oct. 29 at schools and city venues across Auburn. Each session will be held from 6 to 8:30 p.m.
“These sessions are your chance to share ideas, ask questions, and work alongside neighbors to shape what comes next for Auburn,” the city said in its announcement.
The first meeting will take place Tuesday, Sept. 23 at Evergreen Heights Elementary, followed by events at City Hall, the Community and Event Center, West Auburn High, Green River College, and Auburn Riverside High.
The gatherings will include opportunities for residents to provide input, learn about city initiatives, and connect with leaders in a casual setting.
Light refreshments will be provided.
“Auburn is listening, and your voice matters,” the city’s statement said.
