The Trojans and the Knights didn’t fare well this weekend, each losing their battle on the field. The Raiders ensured there wasn’t a shutout for Auburn teams with a strong victory in their fight.

Sumner left no doubt of its superiority in polishing off Puyallup Rogers 49-6 in their September 9 game.

Defense put both offenses in a deep slumber in the first and third quarters, with no one scoring. Sumner registered a 21-6 advantage at halftime over Puyallup Rogers.

Enumclaw overcomes Lakewood Lakes in competitive affair 28-27

A tight-knit tilt turned in Enumclaw’s direction just enough to squeeze past Lakewood Lakes 28-27 during this football game. Neither offense could get untracked in fruitless first and third quarters.

Playing with a winning hand, Gig Harbor trumped Bonney Lake 39-19 in their matchup. Neither offense could get untracked in a fruitless third quarter.

Gig Harbor’s offense jumped to a 20-6 lead over Bonney Lake at halftime. The Tides jumped in front of the Panthers 13-6 to begin the second quarter.

Renton Hazen unveiled a blanketing defense and threw it all over Renton in a 28-0 shutout.

Both offenses seemed to run out of gas with neither able to generate points in the first and fourth quarters. Montesano’s offense took charge to a 43-0 lead over Puyallup Cascade Christian at halftime.

Buckley White River finds small margin for win in tilt with Shelton 21-14

Buckley White River edged Shelton in a close 21-14 encounter in a this high school football matchup.

Defense ruled the first and third quarters as Buckley White River and Shelton were both scoreless.

Lacey Timberline triumphs in strong showing over Kent-Meridian 57-6

Lacey Timberline’s powerful offense roared to a resounding victory by pulling away from Kent-Meridian 57-6 in high school football action on September 10.

Defense muted both offenses in scoreless first and third quarters. The Blazers’ offense pulled ahead to a 51-0 lead over the Royals at halftime.

Everett Archbishop Murphy outlasts Fife 27-17

Everett Archbishop Murphy trucked Fife on the road to a 27-17 victory during this football game. The Wildcats’ kept the advantage through the fourth quarter with a 13-0 scoring edge over the Trojans.

The Trojans took the lead 17-14 to start the fourth quarter. The Wildcats kept a 7-3 intermission margin at the Trojans’ expense.

Everett Archbishop Murphy opened with a 7-0 advantage over Fife through the first quarter.

Vice-grip defense fuels Seattle O’Dea’s win over Burien Kennedy Catholic 49-0
