The Valley Regional Fire Authority (VRFA) is inviting scouts and their families to Station 33 in Lakeland Hills for a night of hands-on learning and adventure on Wednesday, Oct. 29.
The free “Scout Night at the Fire Station” runs from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at 500 182nd Ave. E. (map below).
“At this event, scouts can meet badge requirements by visiting learning stations focusing on smoke alarms, cooking safety, knot tying, first aid, emergency preparedness, and more,” VRFA said.
Families can register by calling 253-288-5881 or emailing [email protected].
For those unable to attend, Puget Sound Fire will host a similar scout event in Kent on Sept. 29.
