Reelect James Jeyaraj for Auburn City Council: ‘My commitment to our community is unwavering’

With an academic foundation comprising an AAS in Computer Network Technology with Honors from Renton Technical College and a BA in Organizational Management from Whitworth University in Spokane, WA, my professional journey has led me to serve as a Production Planner.

My commitment to our community is unwavering. I prioritize listening to your thoughts and concerns, making myself accessible wherever it suits you. My guiding principle is to consistently do what is right. As a leader, I foster strong collaborations with local businesses and residents, envisioning a prosperous trajectory for our city, not merely for the near future but for generations to come.

Auburn’s population is 90,000 today. Its unique blend of growth potential and the warmth of a close-knit community deeply resonate with me.

Serving as Auburn’s Deputy Mayor since 2022, my vision is to empower our downtown businesses to thrive, reflecting the essence of our city. Simultaneously, I am dedicated to ensuring a secure environment for businesses citywide.

Having assumed the role of a community leader in 2017, I actively engaged in elections and played a role in forming a grassroots political group. Prior to my election to the Auburn City Council in 2019, I contributed my insights while serving on the Auburn Parks and Recreation Board.
Through community engagement, I’ve gained profound insights into our challenges. Prioritizing public safety, affordable housing, economic growth, and addressing homelessness is essential for preserving our community’s quality of life. I’m resolute in leading and advocating for Auburn’s betterment, aiming to make every resident proud to call it home.

I am James Jeyaraj, and I humbly seek your support for re-election to Auburn City Council Position 3 on November 7, 2023. Together, let’s continue forging a brighter future for Auburn.
